The superb picture below is additional parts of Carbon Fiber Motorcycle Helmets's article that's posted by Lori Grimes.
The Speed and Strength® SS1600 Cruise Missile™ full face motorcycle helmet comes lined with a removable and washable Cool-Core® moisture wicking liner and is built with an A.T.P.A.™ Advanced Thermo-Poly Alloy shell that meets or exceeds DOT and ECE 22-05 standards. The 1550 gram motorcycle helmet contains a Lockdown™ shield security system and an Air Strike™ direct course ventilation system providing proper airflow circulation. A DVD™ Drop Visor Design is included for sun protection and an All Clear!™ optically correct, anti-scratch, anti-fog and UV resistant clear face shield. Tinted shields are sold separately and are for daytime use only.
Open face helmets are prized by motorcycle riders for their convenience and field of vision, but rarely are they ever associated with such traits as aerodynamically refined and quietness. Shoei largely bucks the trend with the RJ Platinum R, an open face helmet that really surprises out on the road. The density EPS liner is very nicely padded and while cooling is already excellent, Shoei has still gone ahead and equipped it with adjustable forehead vents. In addition, a removable visor lets you have the option of attaching a face shield for a little more coverage.
The original Revolver helmet was a solid design but nevertheless presented areas that could be improved upon. So as would only be natural, Bell went back to the drawing board to create the more refined Revolver EVO. The aggressive and good looking shell carries over as does the $200 price point which combines to make the Revolver EVO a very compelling modular helmet choice.
