The EXO-R710 is Scorpion’s latest edition to the popular R-Series with a feature list that is unparalleled in the sub $200 fiberglass helmet category. Advanced features like the Fiberglass / Aramid Matrix Shell, Ellip-Tec® Base Plate System, Everclear® No-Fog Face Shield and Emergency Release Cheek Pads allow the EXO-R710 to be at home in the canyons, while commuting or during closed course competition.
Arai doesn’t come out with brand new helmets that often, so when they do you know it’s special. The Corsair-X breaks ground on a couple new designs and chief among them is a new, rounder shell that has been specifically shaped to increase the chance you glance off an impact and not just take the hit directly. Improving energy absorption, this added safety doesn’t increase weight or drag and still performs just like you’d expect any Arai would. Ventilation is quite impressive and each of the six large vents are three position adjustable ensuring you can always dial-in the airflow. The Variable Axis Shield System allows the face shield to be positioned lower on the shell and besides creating a smooth action, the locking latch is low, large and within easy reach. A clear Pinlock insert is standard and just to help that much more in poor conditions, the shield has two adjustable air vents itself. Summed up, the Corsair-X is a helmet that will carry Arai for years to come.
Once again Scorpion redefines the definition of value and versatility. Introducing the all new EXO-AT950, a versatile modular Adventure Touring helmet. It has features and quality that you would expect to pay three times more for. The EXO-AT950 can be used as a full face ADV helmet with external peak visor attached, or the peak visor can be removed and you have an aerodynamic touring helmet. The oversized eye port is extremely wide for greater peripheral vision and downward visibility, and the modular chin bar can be conveniently flipped up when you stop to get gas or ask for directions.
Like a protective apparition, the Variant Ghost Carbon is the barely there presence made to haunt the minds of the unwary. Showing hand laid carbon along with gold tinted eyes, the Variant becomes a cold blooded attack on the road. Capable of anything and showing nothing, the Ghost Carbon is street performance dripped in black.
The internal drop down Speedview® sunvisor and KwikWick® II liner will keep you comfortable all day long even as lighting conditions change throughout the day. Additionally, the no-fog Everclear® face shield can be removed and you can use the EXO- AT950 as a dirt helmet with goggles for off-road use. Three shell sizes made of Advanced LG® Polycarbonate and dual density EPS, result in a helmet that is light weight, strong, and protective.
