An all new helmet from Scorpion, the EXO-T1200 is intended to be the company’s premier touring/sport touring lid. Similar to the EXO-R2000 in regards to its construction, the T1200 gets the lightweight TCT composite shell, the same sleek fitting faceshield and the handy AirFit system. Touring specific designs include a 3 position drop down sunshield and the new VSV (Venturi Super Vent) ventilation system. And yet even with its premier status in the Scorpion line, the EXO-T1200 still comes in less than most of its direct competition.
Easily one of Bell’s most anticipated helmets, the MX-9 Adventure sees Bell finally enter the ADV segment and they’ve created a very appealing first time effort. Based closely on the new MX-9, you get the same aggressive looking polycarbonate shell and venting system. However, naturally Bell has created a new, more aerodynamic visor and a large flip up face shield to go with it. Equally capable on the street or dirt, you get a design that likes fast riding on both surfaces.
