Easily one of Bell’s most anticipated helmets, the MX-9 Adventure sees Bell finally enter the ADV segment and they’ve created a very appealing first time effort. Based closely on the new MX-9, you get the same aggressive looking polycarbonate shell and venting system. However, naturally Bell has created a new, more aerodynamic visor and a large flip up face shield to go with it. Equally capable on the street or dirt, you get a design that likes fast riding on both surfaces. The colorways are all extremely sharp looking but this is overshadowed by the price point which is sub $200. Definitely not a bad thing.

You may be required to send in your photos, design ideas, drawings, and logos to the customization company and instruct them on how to make design custom motorcycle helmets.

Whatever way you look at it, Bell has spawned the Qualifier DLX, a new mid-priced helmet that has some very cool features attached to it. First up and probably most noticeable is the built in accommodation for Sena and Cardo communicators. A snap-in, plug and play setup, the configuration is incredibly easy to use. Next up, all Qualifier DLX helmets come with Transitions® equipped faceshields. Rain, sun, cloudy days or night riding, you now get one faceshield that can cover it all. Polycarbonate is the material of choice for the shell and inside Bell’s proven ventilation system and contour shaped padding carries over. In the end, the Qualifier DLX might just be Bell’s most versatile street helmet.

I’m sure a smart person like you surely has something to say - why not shout it out loud with a wild, badass, cool (or D. all of the above) motorcycle helmet graphic? If you’re thinking it’s all been done, think again. We’re not talking pinstripes here. How about some extraterrestrial rock and roll up in your business, or robots, or zombies?

Yet once you put it on, one will start to notice the small improvements Nolan has made. Aiming to make it quieter and vent better, Nolan set to work changing the interior padding and neck curtain while also opening up the front intake air vents. Untouched in this overhaul is the flip up chin bar, the drop down sunshield and easy to change out face shield. Start to add it all up and you will find that the Nolan N104 EVO is a very, very solid choice in the competitive modular helmet segment.

Literally standing out from its competition, the GM54s comes with a three position LED light bar integrated into the back of the shell. Alternating between steady, slow and fast flash, the light makes a big difference in visibility during night riding. Venting-wise adjustable air vents are in no short supply and can be seen prominently across the chin, forehead and rear. The drop down sunshield is a one finger operation and with the flip up chin bar locking metal to metal, the action is smooth and light. All things considered, if you’re looking at a flip up helmet this GMax should be one to think about.

A simple test to ensure that this helmet will stay on your head is to check its chinstrap you are holding. Keep in mind that its retention depends on the adjustable power of its chinstrap.

Things to Consider in Purchasing Women’s Custom Helmets: Removable lining: If you wear makeup during riding it will get smeared on the padding inside of the helmet. This also goes for normal hair oils. If you find a helmet with removable lining, it will be easier to keep the inside clean and that old body soil off your skin.

Girly Helmets have pink trim, pink borders, and pink flowers. I know, I know – it’s a shock to me too. Here’s to your special ride – whether you are a women riding your own solo – or a 2-up riding couple. Get yourself a motorcycle helmet that fits good and looks good too.

From the liner to the air vents to the click of the face shield locking, this is a helmet that defines quality.
